TECHNICIANS' SEMINAR
June 12-13, 2008
A seminar designed to enable personnel
who serve as evidence technicians within property rooms to design, implement, and
maintain a property and evidence control system. During the two days of instruction,
topics to be covered include:
(1) job of the evidence technician; (2) forms as
data gathering tools; (3) chain of custody; (4) packaging and submission; (5) access
and security to the property/evidence room; (6) computerized tracking and bar-coding;
(7) storage locations: general and specific; (9) notifications; (10) inspections,
audits, and inventories; (11) temporary release; and (12) final disposition and destruction
of stored case evidence. INSTRUCTOR: Sam Dobson, Palm Beach Gardens Police
Department, Palm Beach Garden, Florida.

Seminar
will be conducted June 12-13, 2008 in Classroom A, Anacostia Operations Facility,
U.S. Park Police, 1901 Anacostia Drive, Washington, D.C. Class will be in session
8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each program day.
FEE:
$295 per person.
Agencies enrolling three or more personnel in this program are entitled to claim
a 15% team discount.

date or a refund cannot be processed. Failure to do so will obligate your agency
