PRE-EMPLOYMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION
May 1-2, 2008
A two-day seminar for persons who are inexperienced in performing pre-employment, background investigations. The seminar will focus on background investigations within law enforcement, security, or government organizations. Topics include: (1) importance of the pre-employment background investigation; (2) what may or may not be asked during an investigation; (3) federal laws relating to employment of the handicapped; (4) various resources that may be used during the course of an investigation; (5) pre-employment interview techniques; and (6) various tests that can be used in background investigations. INSTRUCTOR: Joseph Linskey, Law Enforcement Training Consultant, North Brunswick, New Jersey.

DATE/LOCATION/TIME: Seminar will be conducted May 1-2, 2008 at the Little Egg Harbor Police Department, 665 Radio Road, Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey. Class will be in session 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily.

FEE: $295 per person . Agencies enrolling three or more personnel in this seminar may claim a 15% team discount.
