This one-day seminar is designed for secretaries, administrative assistants, and staff personnel who work within such governmental units as finance, public safety, code enforcement, procurement, building and zoning, and other job related positions. This seminar will offer participants an understanding of fundamentals and skills required to improve the way they schedule themselves to complete various assigned office duties and requirements. It will present simple, yet effective tools that one can utilize to improve productivity, not only at work, but in all facets of his or her life. By the conclusion of this program, participants should understand (1) how to control both professional and personal time; (2) methods to become more proactive and better balanced; (3) techniques to manage all the commitments and promises that they make so nothing "slips through the cracks"; (4) means to find an additional 2 to 3 hours per day; and (5) how to significantly improve effectiveness and productivity by utilizing some type of organizer or planner. DATE/LOCATION/TIME: Seminar will be conducted on October 18, 2007 at the Hallandale Beach Police Department, 400 South Federal Highway, Hallandale Beach, Florida. Class will be in session 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day.
