PROPERTY/EVIDENCE ROOM TECHNICIANS' SEMINAR
May 24-25, 2011
A seminar designed to enable personnel who serve as evidence technicians within property rooms to design, implement, and maintain a property and evidence control system. During the two days of instruction, topics to be covered include: (1) job of the evidence technician; (2) forms as data gathering tools; (3) chain of custody; (4) packaging and submission; (5) access and security to the property/evidence room; (6) computerized tracking and bar-coding; (7) storage locations: general and specific; (9) notifications; (10) inspections, audits, and inventories; (11) temporary release; and (12) final disposition and destruction of stored case evidence. Seminar will be conducted May 24-25, 2011 at the North Miami Police Department, 700 NE 124th Street in North Miami, Florida. Class will be in session 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day.

FEE
$295 per person.
