PROPERTY/EVIDENCE ROOM TECHNICIANS' SEMINAR
October 21-22, 2010
A seminar designed to enable personnel who serve as evidence technicians within property rooms to design, implement, and maintain a property and evidence control system. During the two days of instruction, topics to be covered include: (1) job of the evidence technician; (2) forms as data gathering tools; (3) chain of custody; (4) packaging and submission; (5) access and security to the property/evidence room; (6) computerized tracking and bar-coding; (7) storage locations: general and specific; (9) notifications; (10) inspections, audits, and inventories; (11) temporary release; and (12) final disposition and destruction of stored case evidence. Program will be conducted October 21-22, 2010 at the New Bern Police Department (District 2 Sub-Station, 3102 Martin Luther King Boulevard, New Bern, North Carolina. Class will be in session 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

FEE
$295 per person.

TEAM DISCOUNT RATE
Enroll two agency personnel at the standard $295 per person fee and the third person is enrolled at half-price ($147.50)
Enroll three agency personnel at the standard $295 per person fee and the fourth person is enrolled free of cost
